Your charter includes professional rods and reels, tackle, bait, live bait upon request, lures, fuel, ice and all the fun you can handle. A cooler full of water and soda will be at your disposal and you can feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks or alcoholic beverages. Captain Shawn will professionally clean and fillet your catch at no additional charge to take home after the trip. Plus our boat has an air-conditioned cabin and full stand up restroom!
Among our targeted species will be Dolphin/Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Snook, King Fish/Mackerel, Amberjack, Sailfish, Marlin, Wahoo, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Pompano, Permit, Pompano, Mackerel, Porgy, Shark, Lane Snapper, Tarpon, Bluefin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, and many other species.
**If you’re looking to book just one person on a shared charter trip then call for details as we require a minimum of two people per shared trip or else you need to book a private trip. Usually we can fit you into other shared trips.

FISHING CHARTER COMMON QUESTIONS
What should I wear and bring for the trip?
Be sure to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, waterproof shoes or sandals, any medications for allergic reactions, as well as any food and beverages. Just like at a restaurant, our captains go out of their way to provide the best experience possible. If you have a great experience it is common to tip 10-20% but not required.
Do we need a fishing license?
You don’t need a fishing license as our license covers everyone on board. We have a six person maximum on all fishing charters. Our captains have USCG Masters Captain Licenses as well.
Am I allowed to bring my own gear?
Our fishing charter boat in Pompano, Florida is equipped with everything you need to catch fish and have a great time. Personal gear can get in the way and become dangerous so we ask you to use our gear instead as we use all the top equipment brands.
Will I get sea sick?
If you are concerned about being sea sick then make sure to take motion sickness medicine like Dramamine or Meclizine as the directions state. If you do not follow the directions the medicine may have no effect. Alcohol can increase the chance of becoming sea sick especially if it’s from the night before!
Is alcohol allowed onboard?
Alcohol is allowed on board for those over 21 years old but the captain may cancel the trip at any time if he feels someone’s behavior is no longer safe for themselves or other passengers. Illegal drugs are prohibited and will result in immediate cancellation. Cancellations due to drugs or alcohol will not be refunded.
What if it's suppose to rain?
With your safety in mind rain and cold are not normal grounds for cancelations of trips. If you choose to cancel a trip for your comfort, you will be charged the full trip rate. If a trip is terminated mid trip it will then be charged as an hourly rental rate.With that said, rain typically is not a reason to cancel a trip as the fish are already wet so they don’t care if it’s raining! We do sometimes make exceptions however for kid’s trips and sunset cruises. The wind/marine forecast is what matters to us.
What do we do to take care of our catch?
There is no need to bring a cooler on the boat for your fish, there is ice and a cooler on board. However, you should have something in your vehicle for your trip home. We will take care of all the filleting and bagging of fish at no extra charge.
What is our cancellation and refund policy?
All cancellations must be made 7 days before the scheduled trip to receive a refund on the deposit. If the cancellation is less than 7 days you will not receive a refund for your deposit and you will also be charged for the full charter if we cannot book the canceled date.The captain has the right to cancel a trip at any time for weather or mechanical failure. If the trip is canceled before it leaves the dock the trip will be fully refunded if arrangements for another day cannot be made.
